Le Naturaliste Cabernet Franc

Domaine Naturaliste Le Naturaliste Cabernet Franc is made with Cabernet Franc, the shy little sister of the Bordeaux grape varieties. It is grown in gravel loam soils at the heart of Wilyabrup in Margaret River.

The Cabernet Franc fruit is carefully destemmed and kept as whole berries for fermentation. After nearly two weeks on skins, the wine is pressed and aged for 14 months in 500 litre French oak puncheons, one third of which are new.

Deep purple, Domaine Naturaliste Le Naturaliste Cabernet Franc has fragrant dark fruit and mineral characters laced with porcelain tannins and natural acidity. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
